Connect Issues
🖥️ Connectivity Fix Guide
Having trouble connecting to Zenith RP? Follow this comprehensive troubleshooting guide to resolve common connection issues. These steps fix 90% of connectivity problems related to network configuration, drivers, and client corruption.
⚠️ Note: Always run commands as Administrator and ensure your system meets the minimum requirements to run RageMP.
🔧 Step 1: Flush DNS & Reset Network
This clears corrupted network data and resets your connection stack.
Instructions:
- Open the Start Menu
- Type
CMD - Right-click on Command Prompt → Run as Administrator
- Run the following commands one at a time:
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset
✅ This resets your DNS cache and Windows socket configuration — critical for connecting to game servers.
🔄 Step 2: Prepare Before Restarting
Before rebooting your PC, complete these essential checks:
-
✅ Update NVIDIA Drivers
Go to NVIDIA Driver Downloads and install the latest version. -
✅ Temporarily Disable Windows Defender / Security
Antivirus or firewall settings may block RageMP. Disable them temporarily during connection attempts. -
✅ Reset Your Router
Unplug your router for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. This refreshes your external IP and clears network congestion. -
✅ Restart Your PC
After completing the above, restart your computer to apply all changes.
🚨 Step 3: If Still Not Fixed
If you're still unable to connect, perform a clean reinstall of the game client.
Instructions:
- ⚠️ Completely delete RageMP folder from your system
- Default location:
C:\Program Files\RageMPorC:\Users\[YourName]\RageMP
- Default location:
- 🔁 Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 above
- 🚀 Reinstall RageMP from the official site: https://rage.mp
- Launch RageMP and reconnect to Zenith RP
💡 Tip: Avoid third-party mods or overlays that may interfere with the connection.
⚡ Final Notes:
- Ensure JavaScript is enabled in your browser (required for Discord and web panels)
- Keep your OS and GPU drivers up to date
- Use a wired connection if possible for better stability
By following these steps, most connection issues — including timeouts, handshake failures, and DNS errors — will be resolved.
